City of Sails

Auckland, New Zealand

Finally, im here. Home at last. It was a long trip from PH to NZ. I warmed by butt down for 10 hours while trying to find a comfortable body angle to crash. Airplane food was okay, though its like over-cooked microwaved food, it was pretty okay. It was a smooth journey after all, since the important people i need to drop off to were all filipinos and one was ilongga. The immigration officer was i think a maori basing on his face, and was very polite enough to be tender on the questions. Also, the biosecurity officer was a real filipino and it was an advantage that he was there knowing that NZ's protocol on declaring goods and other things transported into their country, is very very strict. The ride was cooler with my lola around because she kept the boring plane ride laughable. She was a hilarious comedian all throughout the flight.

Sad thing though, i didn't get the chance to stroll around sydney's airport because of the minimal interval in both flights.

NZ at last. They have cute houses. They were like little doll simple houses. And I always forget to wear the seatbelt. Good thing I am always reminded, because I don't have $200 nor any NZD in my pocket to begin with.

Anyways, spent the whole evening washing so much dishes because of the welcoming party they threw for me and lola. I missed my siblings and both of my parents. They are getting older and its getting pretty obvious. This is an urgent reminder to start moving fast and get to work and buy them good creams that could take away those lines.

Ayways, more NZ stories to come. Ciao!

Continuing the Anne Saga

Saw this great great pictures of Anne Hathaway in the back issue of W magazine.
I must say i just love Anne and everything couture.

She exudes luxury in a very fashionable way.

I love love these shots.

Why is Anne Hathaway so darn ethereal?

She graces every red carpet event with such stunning elegance.
For some, she is the modern day Audrey Hepburn.
I adore her and the way she carries herself with her Versace gowns.
A sight to watch.

Art of Chindogu

While watching Martha Stewart (i honestly love her!), she featured this book about 101 Japanese Useless Inventions and I was a bit apalled by the measures these Japanese take to put convenience and solutions to everyday living.

Check it out:

for noodle eaters, so that their hair wont dip on their noodles

Tissue dispenser: this would come in handy when you have cold

This umbrella idea is quite clever but it will may u look like a wierd psycho.

go figure!

Now im turning japanese and im turning japanese! Hahaha!
